JTY-GM-HA221-RS485 Networked Smoke and Heat Fire Detector (hereinafter referred to as the detector) is suitable for fire pre-alarm in civil and industrial places such as box transformers, cabinets, substations, warehouses, and motor rooms. The detector features high sensitivity, stability and reliability, low power consumption, aesthetic durability, and ease of use, and can be used in conjunction with security systems.

II. Functions:

Self-Test: Press the test button, the detector's LED stays on, and an alarm sound is emitted (Note: The self-test only checks the internal functions of the detector itself; no relay signal output during self-test).

Operation: Under normal conditions, the detector's indicator light flashes approximately every 6 seconds. The detector automatically monitors the surrounding smoke concentration and performs automatic sensitivity compensation based on the environmental conditions. When the smoke concentration approaches the alarm threshold, the detector accelerates intelligent calculation of the smoke concentration trend, and the alarm indicator begins to flash. If the calculation result reaches or exceeds the alarm threshold, the detector initiates audible and visual alarms. When the surrounding smoke concentration drops below the alarm threshold, the detector automatically returns to normal operation. When the ambient temperature reaches 57°C, the detector's indicator begins to flash. When the temperature drops below 57°C, the detector automatically resumes normal operation.

RS-485 Communication: Utilizes a standard RS-485 communication interface with selectable baud rates: 2400bps, 4800bps, 9600bps, 19200bps; default is 4800bps. Modbus-RTU Protocol: The alarm status register address is 03, read using function code 03. Status is "0" or "1": Normally Open ("1" for normal, "0" for alarm), Normally Closed ("0" for normal, "1" for alarm).
